Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin – Athirapally (2 Hrs) – to Munnar (3 Hrs)
Morning Pick up from airport hotel and move to Athirapally. Sightseeing Points • Athirappally Waterfalls, (It is the largest waterfall in Kerala) • Vazhachal Waterfalls • Thumboormuzhi butterfly Garden • Handing Bridge visit Later drive to Munnar and Overnight stay.
Day 2: Munnar Full day Sightseeing
After breakfast, spend the day in local sightseeing in Munnar include • Hydel Park, • Flower Garden, • Photo Point, • Mattupetty Dam, • Eco Point, • Kundala Lake, • Eravikulam National Park (01st Feb to 31st march Closed) • Tea Museum and Factory. (Monday Not Working) Overnight stay at Hotel in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady
Post breakfast check out and visit photo point in Munnar and then drive to Periyar (Thekkady). See the copious nature beauty, appealing mountain streams, spice plantations etc on the way. On arrival at Periyar, check-in at your hotel. Freshen up and relax. Have boat cruise over the Periyar Lake and explore Periyar wildlife sanctuary. See diverse species of birds and animals making an amazing move while monkeys show their tricks to grab your attention. Overnight will be at Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkady to Kumarakom
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom (04 Hrs Drive). Check in to the hotel. Afternoon proceeds for local sightseeing in and around Kumarakom - a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. The stretch of backwater is spread over 900 sq. km. Choose a canoe, motor boat or a houseboat and devour the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. Overnight stay is arranged in Kumarakom.
Day 5: Kumarakom to Alleppey (1 hr.)
After breakfast Check out your resort and drive to Alleppey; also known as Venice of the east by its special geographical features as the place is famous for its vast back water stretches and paddy fields. Overnight stay at Alleppey in houseboat.
Day 6: Alleppey – Trivandrum (160Kms 4-5 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast drive to Trivandrum and visit Kovalam beach and Padmanabhasami Temple. Overnight stay at Trivendrum.
Day 7: Trivandrum Drop
After breakfast drop at Trivandrum airport.
